Golden Gate Meat Company is a family owned and operated business with three locations in the greater Bay Area. Jimi-Z and Patti, Justin, Jonni, Sarah all run the Richmond Wholesale location, servicing the SF Bay area. Brad and his crew serve the Wine Country and North Bay areas out of our Santa Rosa location. Chris, Margo and Dean Offenbach run the retail location in the San Francisco ferry building. With our roots in food service, we specialize in providing all natural meats from family farms direct to your business.
Our product lines range from natural, organic, pasture raised, no hormones, antibiotic free and exclusive lines of heritage meats. Our buyers secure exclusive contracts with some of the top vendors in the market. We are always searching for great options at competitive prices for our clients to feature on their menus.
We strive to offer our clients top notch service through our efficient routing and delivery fleet, to our early am production crew. Our skillfully crafted butchery staff, knowledgeable sales staff and friendly accounting team, we go the extra step to cater to your business needs and demands.
The Golden Gate Meat Company, Inc., was established in 1977 by Jimi-Z and Patti Offenbach as a continuation of the Offenbach family’s history in the restaurant and food supply industry. Today, Golden Gate Meat Co continues this family tradition with Wholesale locations in SF Bay Area Wholesale (Richmond), Wine Country Wholesale (Santa Rosa), and our Retail location in the San Francisco Ferry Plaza. Our family traditions of quality service and product lines are available to businesses and retail in the extended Greater Bay area.

Our extended family has both owned and operated restaurants in Sonoma and Marin counties. Ray’s Catering, located in Marin county, is also owned and operated by Offenbach family members.

San Francisco Bay, Richmond
The Offenbach Family: Jimi-Z, Patti, Justin, Jonni and Sarah, together run the day to day operations at the Richmond wholesale location. Servicing restaurants, hotels, catering outfits, markets, deli's, food trucks and Pop-up's in the SF Bay Area, we source the best possible products for our customers. We work hand-in-hand with well respected Farmers, Ranchers and Companies who are leaders in the food industry. These relationships bring the best possible products to our customers. The Richmond facility also offers custom packed product for local in-home meal delivery services.
Brad Wagner and his team of the Wine Country division delivers direct to restaurants, hotels, wineries and culinary institutes in the North Bay. He works hand in hand with well-respected Farmers, Ranchers and companies which are leaders in the food industry. These relationships bring the best possible products to our customers. The Wine Country division acts as a custom butchery department for local ranchers in the area.

San Francisco Ferry Plaza
Chris, Margo and Dean Offenbach run the retail location inside the bustling Ferry Plaza. Our old-fashioned butcher shop carries natural and organic beef, veal, pork, lamb, poultry, wild game, smoked meats, sausage and house-made charcuterie items. We feature daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials for customers on the go.
We also have a visible Dry-Age room where we age beef and local lamb for up to 21 days, some of the best aged meat available for our retail clients.
